Over on that Twitter, Andrew Shim (you know, Romeo Brass... Milky) was posting a few photos from yester-year last night that related to his and Shane's work over the years. Some great little images! He says he'll be posting more soon... here are the pics from last night... Andrew and Shane on the shoot of A Room For Romeo Brass Andrew and Bob Hoskins on the shoot of A Room for Romeo Brass A Room For Romeo Brass original script from 1998 Andrew, Paddy Considine and co-writer Paul Fraser in the back of a limo for the Toronto Film Festival 1999. Andrew proudly displaying his key-lime pie! Paddy Considine, Andew and Paul Fraser at Niagra Falls during their Canadian visit for the Toronto Film Festival 1999 Shane and Paul Fraser proudly displaying their silver and bronze awards for Go-Karting.. where's the gold? Andrew claims it was his! Andrew, Johnny Vegas and Shane. This is apparently from around the time of some lost project that began filming in Manchester. I do vaguely recall some media reports years ago (just after Dead Man's Shoes??? or maybe before. I forget), reports of a TV comedy project directed by Shane and starring Johnny Vegas! Now I come to mentione it, I remember looking forward to it at the time! Another of Johnny Vegas, Shane and Andrew. Warp producer Mark Herbert chipped in on the Twitter chat between Andrew and Mr Vegas on Twitter last and said that he and Shane had actually brough the idea back up again recently in conversation. The possibilty of resurrecting the idea being a possibility. Shane.. any chance of a bit of info on what this project was and how much was filmed. Can we see any of it?!?! (I don't seriously expect that we can. ha).

Fantastic pics! The story about Johnny Vegas is interesting, though if the mooted tv show had happened we might never have got the Godlike wonder that was "Ideal".
Swings and roundabouts...
