Hi everyone,
Please check out my new short film which I made on a shoestring budget for my final project at college.
All feedback is welcome and appreciated, thanks Aaron.

Looks beautiful Aaron. Very professional, lovely framing of shots and seemless editing-flows really nicely. The two young actors were both excellent-very natural performances. Liked the enigmatic nature of the story and (again) ambiguous-does she, doesn't she-ending.
What are your plans post graduation?

Thanks Jill, I very much appreciate your feedback it means a lot! :-)
I've just finished 3 years at college and will be starting another 3 year degree at university so for now I'm just going to continue making and try to improve myself with each film I make. It's a hard industry to crack as I'm sure you know so I'm trying my best to get my foot in the door whatever way possible. Just finished some work experience on a Warp Films production as it was partly shot in my hometown and it was life changing, learnt so much just from the few days I was there.

Wow! That was lovely. You and the writer have achieved a stunning balance of ambiguity that is both satisfying and resonating. A difficult trick to pull off as it can often tip over into frustration and feeling cheated. I want to know but I enjoy not knowing much more. Beautifully filmed and the actors are both excellent.
I'm no expert but I'll stick my neck out and say you're one to watch. Looking forward to your next film.

Bill I can't thank you enough for your kind words and support, it means an awful lot!
I've just checked out your body of work and it's stunning, do you by any chance have anything for sale? I would be interested in prints if possible!
Thanks again, Aaron.

I would be interested in prints if possible! Thanks again, Aaron. Hey you're welcome, Aaron. I hope the film will continue to be a big success for you. I got my colleagues in the design dept where I work to watch it and although a few were frustrated by the ambiguity they all agreed it was beautifully filmed and mesmerising. We all agreed that the actors were excellent. I hope they too go on to do more. One colleague said that they now wanted to see the whole film! The concept of short films isn't that familiar to her. Thanks for your lovely comments too. Hey it's a love-in around here! I've not been asked for prints of my stuff before. Which one did you have in mind? Meant to say the music was wonderful too. Oh and which Warp film did you do your work experience on?

That's incredible Bill, thanks very much for sharing my work with your colleagues, it's fantastic to hear such nice comments. In regards to the ending, some of the story is based loosely on true events but was supposed to be more of a metaphor for the feeling of loosing love - something which I'm sure a lot of people can relate to! Does the girl drown herself? Does the boy save her? Did the event even happen or is it a blurred recollection of memory being imagined by the boy? Who knows, thats for the audience to interpret.
About your work, I love the look of your calling cards on your website and everything related to Shane's films. Do you have a catalogue of all of your work? (I noticed chromebaby.co.uk is down).
I recently did work experience on a Warp film in production called 71 directed by Yann Demange starring Jack O'Connell. It's about the Belfast riots in the 70's following the story of Gary played by Jack as the lead, a fantastic experience to see such a great production first hand and help out.
Cheers.
