Really impressive. Dougie is a fantastic character, extremely watchable. Great choice of music and shots, lovely dialogue. I think you kept that perfect balance of reminiscence, hope, and, well, despair, without descending into mawkishness or pathos. It really makes you care for him. Well done.

They're really nice comments, thanks Rich! If you'd like to follow the Facebook page I should be releasing another episode in November, this time with better sound quality and a little more narrative and maybe a even a few more characters!

Ahh, I'm not on facebook. Have sent you a pm though, but since doing so I've learned how to link directly to the film on vimeo.
I think the introduction of more characters could be interesting - you remind me a bit of Kevin Smith, I mean, the old Kevin Smith of the Clerks era. To get that much heart and soul into what is essentially a six minute monologue is some skill.
Incidentally, what is the song on the end titles? Its brilliant.
