Took me a while, but I think I've got it..... but I'll keep quiet and let someone else have a look in!
Whatever the answer is I can pretend I knew it all along! (I do know it though, honest!)

If no one comes in by noon Dave, you crack on mate.
The best on show for me were a plastic toy soldier (with plastic plinth under foot!) and a massive penis which turned out to be free willy.

Nice one Jill. I thought it was a nice easy one but most people at the party thought I'd missed the film theme point and come as a tennis player.
Which size t shirt would you like and would you like me to sign or leave it clean baby?

Congratulations Jill!
I knew the film, but I would have had to look up the character names if I'm being honest (which I am).

Which size t shirt would you like and would you like me to sign or leave it clean baby? Shame on them. The shades are a dead give away and your wife captured the Margot pout. Rushmore's my favourite, but I think Tenenbaums might be his best film. Small man please (36-38). I am not a small man obviously, but my pencil thin son is. He's a Meadows and Roses fan. It was his birthday a few days back. If he gets this unexpectedly, he'll-in his words-totally buzz off it. Signed pleased Cheers Shane x

No worries Jill. I'll see if I've got a small in the Vatican Vaults. If you send Davey boy your details, he will get them to me and I'll get a pidgeon lined up. X.

Nice one. Life Aquatic is my personal fave Wes Anderson film. I have to say it was very hit and miss like a few of Anderson films are, I Think Rushmore, TRT and The Grand Budapest are his best films, Moonrise Kingdom was a return to form, The fantastic mr Fox was a lot of fun. I hate TDL and LA isn't that great apart from Murray and Dafoe. Bottle Rocket is fine but I prefer the short film.

Bottle Rocket is fine but I prefer the short film. I re-watched Bottle Rocket a couple of nights back. I really love that little film. Even though it's very different culturally, storyline, and every other which way, it puts me in mind of Small Time and also Trailer Park Boys-the Dignan character almost makes me want to cry ('the world needs dreamers'). It's also my most quotable Wes Anderson film-'Here are just a few of the key ingredients: dynamite, pole vaulting, laughing gas, choppers - can you see how incredible this is going to be? - hang gliding, come on!' 'On the run from Johnny Law..it aint no trip to Cleveland.' And I really like the little comedy moments-the gun on the table, the Pink Panther rip off of the view of Dignan being beat up in the bar, while Anthony and Inez make lovey dovey in the foreground. Love the soundtrack too. Dazza, I'd never seen the short version before, but after reading your post, I searched it out and found it on Youtube. So, this is the short that Scorsese saw that inspired him to sink money into the feature? I'm guessing it must be. Good, but I like the eventual film better. Here it is for anybody else that likes the film and has never seen this: I went off Anderson a bit after Darjeeling Limited (maybe I should watch it again) and I love Roald Dahl, so was always going to be super critical of Fantastic Mr Fox, but Moonrise Kingdom was sweet and Grand Budapest Hotel is flipping splendid. So, overall, not much to forgive really and what there is to forgive is well and truly forgiven in my book PS. EVERYBODY in Life Aquatic is great, but yeah, agree Defoe steals it ;D
