Good to see Paddy back in a main role and one that looks gritty and compelling. Have you seen his cameo in the Double? Richard Ayoade's new film. The funniest thing in the film, it's a great film by the way with a lot of dark comedic moments, but the fake really cheesy Sc-fi Show that Jessie Eisenberg's character loves and Paddy's is it's hero with fake American Accent is awesome. Hopefully on the DVD release we will get to see the full version.
The new film seems to have got a good score on IMDB, hopefully it's a good film plus it's a interesting subject.
He's also got two awesome films coming with Macbeth with the best actor in the world right now Michael Fassbender as Macbeth and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth plus Sean Harris, David Thewlis and Jack Reynor ( check out What Richard Did, one of the best Irish films ever) and directed by Justin Kurzel who did the amazing but bleak Aussie film Snowtown based on a True story too.
The other is Child 44 with the great Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace (loved her in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but she hasn't done anything of greatness since), Vince Cassel and Jason Clarke. Now that's some cast.
Paddy Hopefully won't get lost in the shuffle.

Wow there are some awesome sounding films coming up with superb casts, I am a big fan of Oldman, Hardy, Fassbender, Harris and Cotillard so this has made my day. Speaking of Sean Harris did you see him in the very dark channel 4 drama Southcliffe? I would love to see Sean Harris in a dark role in a Meadows film, he is a fantastic actor. I agree Rapace was superb in GWTDT, she was the best Lisbeth Salander. I have seen some reviews and a trailer for The Double but havent seen it yet.

Sean Harris was pretty damn scary in Harry Brown and gave the best performance for me as Ian Curtis in 24 hour party people plus he was pure evil in the Red Riding trilogy as a corrupt cop. I didn't see Southcliffe must check it out thanks for the recommendation.

Ref Southcliffe episode one and two left me numb for about an hour afterwards and I was still thinking about it the next day. Red Riding Trilogy is one I really must get on DVD and agree he was brilliant in that small role in Harry Brown which he really made his own. Very talented actor.
