This Is England '90 has got three nominations in the forthcoming BAFTA TV awards!
Best TV Mini Series Leading Actor - Stephen Graham Supporting Actress - Chanel Cresswell
It's not just me is it that thinks those awards for Stephen and Chanel should be the other way around? Not the male/female part... the Leading and Supporting part!

I am so glad that TIE is getting the recognition it deserves. I think Chanel stood out in this series and agree with Dave, this series she was an incredible lead and set the tone.
I am still sad that it is all over and it will hold a massive part in my heart. It has been incredible to watch it grow over the years, having said that I am so excited for what Shane brings next.

This Is England 90 won 2 of the 3 BAFTAs it was up for! Sadly Stephen Graham didn't get the Lead Actor award... that went to Mark Rylance for Wolf Hall.

That's a good find... the Guardian article didn't seem to outright dismiss the idea of more TV. I like Shane's idea of perhaps a feature that is released in cinemas and TV simultaneously, but then why dilute the cinema audience? Imagine a This Is England film being released in cinemas now after gaining such a big following. Surely it would be a box office winner!
