Hi, I’m 17, and I’m studying A-Level Film Studies in Leicestershire. As part of the coursework, I have to complete a mini project worth 20% of my A-Level. For my project I have decided to focus on Shane Meadows. My title is: How does Shane Meadows present themes and life experiences through the use of the genre ‘British Social Realism’? Part of the project consists of primary research. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me based on my project, and give me an insight into your views/opinions of how Shane Meadows uses the genre of British Social Realism to portray themes like violence, domestic issues and poverty, and if he does so effectively. thanks
