in the scene at tuffs flat when richard has trashed it and tuff and soz run to the window on the window sill is a yellow and red ashtray. The ash tray is a ceramic hand sprayed piece made by a batley company called red-eye made in painstaking detail by.......ME. I worked for the company for 5 years and left last year but as i worked on my own all the time i certainly made that ashtray. If you read this Shane who's was the ashtray? just a set designer or yours or one of the crews? May sound starange but it freaked me out to see something ive made in my favorite film.
Unbelieveable.

That is pretty great. Is the design quite rare then?
Do you have any photos of your work? If you do, let me know.. I'll put your close up pic on here along with a still from the film pointing out where the ashtray is (if I can spot it! haha)

The ash tray was probably dressing picked up by Adam, Art Director, on his trawls round the various shops of Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield. I'd say the chances of its whereabouts still being known are quite slim.
What is more cool is that a two year old thread is bumped by a relatively new member. What other amazing nuggets have we discussed that have since dropped into the abyss of page two and beyond..?
"That evidence in the O'Brien case.. I found it on page twenty four, he WAS innocent"
"He went to the chair six months ago, Jim.."
