Ay'up!
Just arrived here . . . glad to see the there's so much support for Mr.Meadow's . . .fantastic director who actually recognises the the Midlands(!), where I was born and raised.
Anyway, intro done. I have only just discovered there is a DMS graphic novel since buying the DVD . . . and considering DMS has stood the test of time, and is still my favorite film, and I love graphic novels, I am desperate to read it!!
Can anyone help???! It is no longer available through Warp and other usual places . . .
Cheers

www.paddyconsidine.tk At the forums there, Paddy was posting a while back about giving away a signed copy to whoever can convince him. I dunno if that's ongoing. I think there may be members here who have bought more than one copy as well... Or members who wanted to sell one.

Hey y'all, I managed to get a copy of the DMS graphic novel in the end, through the magic that is ebay . . . As I'm a sucker for graphic novels anyway, I enjoyed it, and especially love the last frame of the book . . . "I just want to lie with my brother" . . .

Yeah man, what film cell?
I was gonna buy the DMS graphic novel when saw it in FOP in Manchester but when I looked through it I wasnt too impressed. Not into the scratchy illustrations so I wasnt payin £10 for sommat I dont like, even if it is to do with one of the best films ever.

You silly billys should have entered Gareth's competition on his PaddyConsidine.tk site. You could have won a signed copy of the graphic novel (Paddy and Shane's signatures I believe).... not only that, but you would have got a film cell mounted in a card frame for entering! That's the film cell that was mentioned.

Got the film cell from Gareth last week, the scene at Motsons farm where Richard is smiling with axe in hand as Sonny and Co flee the seen (Cheers Gareth). Still waiting on the novel though, Paddy's been busy moving house.
