Lol beware the Angels are coming, "people are getting in supplies to stay inside", it sounds like the third world war not a couple of big bearded dudes on motorbikes having a party lol.
Maybe the Angels will just have a tea party but I doubt it based on there reputation :-)
Could be a good party if you can get in on it lol. Lets all hope Riber Castle survives there visit.

I'm actually quite envious ..
My daughter and I went up to Riber last weekend and I immediately said that it would make a tremendous party venue ... For those of you who have been, can you imagine sitting, with a spliff and a glass of whatever you fancy, and looking down on the valley?

Heh .. I actually don't smoke, but can imagine that if you do then sitting, looking at the view, would be perfect !
I'll have a Gin and Tonic please ... loads of ice and a squeeze of lime !! Delicious !
I wonder if you'll be able to hear the throb of the music down in Matlock .. ?

As someone who spent several Friday nights of their youth doing just that, i can tell you it's fuckin magic Saffy.
A drunken roll down the hill in the dark at the end of the night was always fun.
On another note, my Dad used to play in the Castle when he was a kid (1950's) and still swears to this day that he saw the ghost of Mrs Smedley (the wife of John Smedley who built it)
