Don't know if anyone saw in the movie section of fridays Sun indie band Editors put Dead Man's Shoes at number 7 with the quote " A brutal real-life revenge story, shocking and disturbing. Paddy Considine is amazing in his lead role"
Their Top Ten was...
1. Magnolia 2. Sideways 3. The Station Agent 4. Signs 5. La Haine 6. Kids 7. Dead Man's Shoes 8. Fargo 9. Leon 10. Heat

Nice one and there are some great films in that list - In rate all but one - Signs sticks out like a sore thumb - M Night Shaghismumalan is one of the world's most overrated filmmakers.

Yeah he does seem to get a lot of attention, but IMO Sighns and The Sixth Sense are modern classics.

Signs is by far the worst on that list. I personally really like signs, some really memorable bits of cinema. But it shouldn't be in any top 50 lists let alone top 10.
I don't really like the Editors, just thought i'd add that randomly.
Awesome how they mentioned Dead Man's Shoes, deserves to be there.
