Film of the week in the RT! Andrew Collins has got good taste (he's a big Carter fan), and he bigs up Shane ( ...long may he continue to be modestly funded) Apparently the script Paddy and Shane wrote was only 35 pages - the rest was all improv. One there for the trivia junkies

When looking throught the TV guide that comes with the Sun newspaper on a saturday they have given the film 5 stars, its not very often they award anything 5 stars in there and rightly so it deserves them.

In the TV Times it got 4 stars, which is very good because their reviews are normally very misguided.
Also they don't normally even say who the director is but they've given a full namecheck!!

Amazing! I never even knew that page existed on Amazon.
Looks like I've not self learned myself too well.
UPDATE: Looks like Dead Man's Shoes has sold out on the main sites (Amazon, Play, HMV)... no longer available in 24 hours.

Wow, this is pretty incredible to see! I feel DMS is a film that suffered for not getting "out there" - everyone I've spoken to that has seen it loves it. Nice to see it obviously connecting with people once they became aware of it. I never knew that terrestrial screenings of films led to a spike in DVD sales. Very cool.
