I was talking to a work colleague the other day as we share an admiration of Shane's and Paddy's work.
He then told me that his wife used to live in the house near Darley Bridge used in DMS as the home of Jo Hartley's character and she recognised the same stair carpet from when she sold it in 1986.

when i was a nipper i went to ryber/riber castle zoo before it closed down and boy o boy seeing it on dead mans shoes was spook-eh!
