So, I guess a few of you must have watched it by now. What do you make of it then?
Plenty of amusing moments in there. My favourite line (well, subtitle) has to be when Tank is banging on about nonsense, including how he met Bobby Ball once when he was a kid, and he still hasn't processed the bloody film! (Thanks to the dubious "I'm a Celebrity...." for introducing Mr Ball to our younger viewers recently). That bit is odd though, as the subtitles are clearly there to alter what is actually being said in the shot (the music is kept high to cover all the chat up). Wonder what was actually being talked about at the time of shooting. Nothing about 'ginger nuts' I'd wager!
Some of the musical interludes go on a bit! Ha ha... like the bit with Chief Clive Stottie responding to the radio dart (plenty of running over mounds of gravel! haha) and the 'performance art' style sequence of the gang with their undies on (their heads).
I really like the way that off cam laughter is kept in, along with a few instances of on cam laughter too! Really gives a good sense of what a laugh they were having filming it.
Anyone else want to post their comments?

I think its fantastic! Tank Bullock is such a surreal character in his manerisms and the way he speaks> After watching it i got "once upon a time in the midlands' out and slammed on the 2nd disc. Piss funny!
"Am I aan? I can see me sen, its got a little TV on it!?!"
Shane should make a feature length picture based around Bullock and the lesser known shag.

Oh mate, if that happened it would be truly awesome. Tank is such a fantastic character. Is he a made purely from your imagination or is he based loosely on someone? The shooting tips part of shanes world is so lo-fi and surreal thats its simply comic genius.
Have you ever thought of creating a TV series on channel 4 or sommat?
"SHAG! What have ya done with me mungo cola?! Ya been at it again?...DING DANG!!"

Aye, Tank is my favourite of all Shane's creations. I think I just prefer the comedy.
And don't get me wrong, I love Richard and Morell as well. Not in a gay way. Well, not in a totally gay way.

Love the pronunciation of mega BIIET-Z genius...Youth.
the dialogue is so raw and natural whilst being surreal at the same time. Love it The names of charachters and terminology are great. "The penut gumbo" indeed.

Pretty sure Tank will grace either the small or big screen at some point. Tank has recorded an album you know!!! I will ask Shane if we can put one of his tracks on the website. His lyrics are amazing and he can write a good tune too. There are about 12 songs on the album. It's when Shane has got too much time on his hands. I live in a very strange house!!! From Mrs Bullock.

A Tank album? Doth my good eye deceive me? I'd be all over that!
This reminds me - I dunno if this is the place to ask, but does anyone know what the song is in "Three Tears For Jimmy Prophet?" It's really good, but I've Googled the lyrics to no avail. On Shane's World, Tank plays a version of it with different lyrics. Is the original written/performed by Shane? It's the one that goes "Shot a man for three bags of brown" (at least I think that's it).

Tank Bullock is such a surreal character in his manerisms and the way he speaks Have you noticed Shane's theme of the silly walks on these early shorts? I agree about the mannerisms and the way he speaks! Shane, every time I watch any one of your film incarnations I laugh so loudly that I miss loads of the film and then have to watch it all over again. Interesting to see Angela get look in on this film. I wonder where she is now? Angela Coulombe where are you?
