I'd like to Shane work with Ben Whishaw, i saw him as Hamlet and him in a crazy play by Philip Ridley at the Chocolate factory in London. He's young and insanely talented, a bit like the guy who played anthony in DMS.
I reckon Shane is probably the best director in britain for getting blinding performances out of the actors he works with. Together they could be awesome.
Anyobdy else got any suggestions for actors [apart form themselves] they'd like to see work with shane?

I'd love Shane to do a film with Paddy and Christian Bale...two better actors you won't find. Both are intense. I'm not sure Bale can do a British accent anymore though! I heard him do an interview the other day and there wasn't a trace of taff.

Interesting you mentioned about Christian Bales accent!
I can now tell you why there is no hint of his native Welsh accent. The people to thank are the yanks. Christian decided not to confuse them by speaking with a Welsh accent so when he did his interviews for Batman and so forth he decided to don an half american accent.
Im sure his English accent will be fine in the upand coming new Mallick film "The New World"
