no worries, not trying to turn the forum into a peer to peer! Just wondering if they are hosted for streaming elsewhere. are all the shorts featured on the film 4 site available on the DVD?

Pretty much... I think the only thing I remember being missing was Shane's short video intros to each short film which were on the film4 site. I think these were additions specifically for the website, because Shane's World which features all the shorts, was originally edited into one 70minute programme. The mad little adverts were featured between each short film as a kind of commercial break. |

HEH! I remember the film making tips, they were absolutely hilarious. had a m8 who incessantly quoted them for months. Is the full 70 minute thing available anywhere?

I'm a touch confused (for a change)... Is Shane's message impying that the 'man with no name' is Le Donk? I never thought that. It seems especially weird as the 'man with no name' is not who he seems. Like you Dave I always thought they were different charecters, they seem to be on Shanes world. Le Donk is the guy doing all the dance moves isnt he and the man with no name is a seperate short.......  ?? Would be awesome to see Shane and Paddy do something new together tho or even old. |

I may have seen it 'by accident' ;D When I first talked to Shane about the site way back at the end of 2004, Shane was talking about how he discovered the other Shane's World site when trying to secure a web address. I've always assumed they're different characters too. But they DO have the same voice, and the way shane put it, they seem to be the same characters. Theres no reason why there can't be two shorts, or a short and a commercial with the same charcter in it. Plus Paddy's character's real name isn't revealed in The Man Without A Name is it? |
