I'm almost certain that Paddy got a BAFTA for his performance in "My Wrongs ...." but on his IMDB page under the awards and nominations section it says nothing about this. He did win one though right?

Did he?
I thought the short film itself won the BAFTA, or perhaps Chris Morris won a director award? Never thought Paddy won one for it.
I didn't think it lived up to the original Blue Jam monologue, but it was still good. Although some bits grated with me. The "grow tits and feed it" line just felt wrong IMO.

I think some confusion may have arisen from the fact that Paddy Considine and possibly Mark Herbert the producer collected the BAFTA for the elusive Mr Morris. uk.imdb.com/title/tt0340258/awardsI remember finding a photo of Paddy with the BAFTA on some website or other. By the way, I've always been intrigued to know how Chris Morris chose Paddy for the role in My Wrongs. I'm presuming he saw him Romeo Brass? No real clue though. It was a cool choice to get Paddy to play the lead, and I always thought that Mr Morris must have been really impressed with seeing Paddy in something else... because he already had his excellent regular actors who could have pulled off the role too (Mark Heap, Kevin Eldon and David Cann).

To clarify Paddy did not win a bafta he has only actually won awards for dead mans shoes best actor (evening standard and GC awards) he may have won somthing for last resort but ill have to get back to y'all on that one cant remember. hes been nominated for dozens of awards though, and numerous films hes been in have been awarded (i.e my summer of love and DMS). As for chris morris choosing him I think it may be a link between t the producer of my wrongs and shane and warp. have to check that one out too.

In addition I actually quite liked the monologue of my wrongs. the speaking baby didnt go down too well but phrases like 'A dead leg in the face' and the destination being 'Shit off' on the bus is classic morris. (note: Jordi Michael from Alan Partridge in the movie too, another talkback connection there.)

Ah ok thanks for clearing that up. Im sure someone mentioned on here in regards to Paddy winning best actor at the Empire awards for DMS that he should have got a bafta for it, but it was ok as he got one for my wrongs.
I dunno, maybe im wrong.
As for the Geordie Micheal link, I too noticed it! I wanna see "My Wrongs...." again but refuse to pay the price asking for it!
Yours Always And Forever
