Just stumbled across some information about a film called Wilderness: www.michaelbassett.com/pages/wilderness.htmAs you can see at the bottom, Toby Kebbell is one of only three people listed, so I guess he has a considerable part in it. The brief synopsis sounds quite intriguing to me. I'm always keen on a good horror. So far, there doesn't appear to be any weird supernatural involvement either, which usually helps to raise the stakes in any horror. However, the mention of dogs and Scotland (and of course Sean Pertwee) certainly brings Dog Soldiers to mind. No bad thing in my opinion, it was a great romp I thought, and overtly British too which always lends a unique vibe to proceedings. Says that shooting began on 31st May. I wonder if Toby will be jumping straight into Oi! This Is England when Wilderness finishes shooting (if indeed Toby is still involved with Oi! This Is England). Wilderness is to be directed by Michael J Bassett who previously directed Deathwatch which was also a horror. It definitely had it's flaws, but the original mix of World War One trenches with hauntings and supernatural activity was enough to keep me interested.

The short film, Handcuffed, was completed during a gruelling 14-hour shoot at a secret location at a house in Burton on Valentine's Day this year.
The film, produced by independent company Queen Bee Films, was today being shown at the Short Film Corner in front of industry professionals at the 58th Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.
Telling the story of a woman who is violently kidnapped and then handcuffed to a radiator before being beaten, the film stars up-and-coming actor Toby Kebbell. He starred alongside Winshill actor Paddy Considine in Dead Man’s Shoes, written and directed by Uttoxeter film-maker Shane Meadows.
Kebbell also appeared in Oliver Stone’s Alexander and in Northern Soul, a Shane Meadows short about a man who abandons his wife and job to try and become a professional wrestler, with disastrous consequences.
Handcuffed was written, produced and directed by Deborah Groves, who lives in Winshill and works for TV's Central News, with virtually no budget.
She said: "It’s a thrill and an honour to have my first film shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
"I have been incredibly blessed to work with such an incredibly talented cast and crew. I’m grateful for their support and hard work.
"Toby Kebbell was an inspiration in the lead role, and I learned a huge amount from the gifted actor."
The film also stars newcomer Helen Bailey, from Nottingham, as the woman who is grabbed in a darkened hall as she arrives home.
She is dragged kicking and screaming into a bedroom where she is handcuffed to the radiator. Her attacker prepares a drug fix. Eventually her terror and cries for help provoke him to attack her. He tightens a belt around her neck and threatens her with a needle filled with heroin. The shocking climax reveals his motive and his worst nightmare.
It’s the directorial debut for the film-maker who is pre-production for her next short film, Silver Lining, which will be shot in July.
It is the second time that a film featuring East Staffordshire has played a part in this year's festival.
