Nokia Shorts 2005 -- Shane's 15 Seconder...

So how did the shoot go, Shane? How long did it take to complete and that? The picture looks pretty good for a mobile phone.

Anyway, Despin and me (of Killer Instinct "fame", see short film making board) have sent something in -- we shot it in about an hour and we had a good laugh doing it (post took about a night to do; mostly sound and an fx shot).

So, is anyone from here thinking about sending something in?

The shoot took about an hour. We shot it in Dean Rogers' stairwell in Nottingham. The edit took about two days because Shane wanted to try and do something different with the look of the footage. The music was also written and performed by Shane to avoid any clearance issues.

Didn't recognise either of them until someone said who they were and went back to rewatch!

The music was particularly great I remember thinking when first watching it. I know Shane has connections with Warp now, so is he out to be the new Aphex Twin?

I enjoyed the short, but thought it would have maybe been a better idea to show the young woman first on the stairwell... to then reveal the shifty lad on his way down. Just a thought.
