Hello all!
Don't forget that there is the first scheduled webchat today at 5pm (UK time). As well as the chatting, it is also an oppurtunity to see how the chatroom functions, and it's limitations.
Depending on how it all goes today, then perhaps regular chats can be organised.

Well, only a staggering 4 people were chatting!
We did actually have 6 different visitors, but two of them never said a word, or were having a computer troubles.
Next chat is currently next Sunday at 7pm. I'll slap a big reminder on the home page at some point. We've got to break into double figures next time! haha

Oh yes, it was a good bit of chatting fun. Pity none of us could work who this Shane Meadows bloke is. Maybe next time eh.
Mandy, is there any such time where Oz is awake at the same time as the UK? Midnight here equals early morning there? No idea! haha What time is it there when it's 5pm here I wonder!

Shaun who? I thought it was a pretty decent chinwag for four bods.
I think Oz is nine hours ahead, if you're on the east coast. Which means we'd have to have the chat at about lunchtime (UK).

We are currently nine hours ahead of you on the east coast, as flashpointharry says. That's during British Summer Time. Obviously when your clocks go back we'll be ten hours ahead of you here in Brisbane because we don't have Daylight Saving Time (a very contentious issue!), but in Sydney, the clocks do go forward by an hour in summer, so they will then be eleven hours ahead of you and one hour ahead of Brisbane. Remember it's spring here at the moment (this would be an opportune time for me to start gloating about the weather...). If you think that's weird, Adelaide is half an hour behind us in the winter and half an hour ahead of us in the summer! I had never heard of a half hour time difference before, I thought when it's on the hour here, it would be on the hour everywhere. It doesn't make any sense to me.
