1 more point will see Scunthorpe safe... been a very up & down season for us but staying in the CCC is a great achievment and they say it's worth about 6 million.
Hope we keep hold of Hooper this summer and he signs on for another couple of years so we don't loose him for free at the end of next season. Heavily linked with pretty much every club in the division.
Forest last day of the season, hope you rest your starting 11 for the play offs. lol. Will hopefully get to that game as it's a Sunday.

Cheers Gary.
*Well I can't help but feel a lot more relaxed and ready to really enjoy this season's playoff saga, in comparison to the last two. Yeah, Yeah fatal last words and all that, but I guess I'm more excited than anxious. I will say, that in Billy I trust.. and therefore can see us edging Blackpool 2-1 in the away-leg and 3-1 in the Home. This despite them being the only team to have done the double over us this season, and the last opposing team to win at the city ground. (Should we have got Swansea I might add, we'd be playing one of the two teams we've done the double over this season. Unlucky them anyhow.)
*Pleased about Palace with the Paul Hart connection and all that, they shouldn't have been in that predicament really.. *and am in absolute awe of Roy Hodgsons Fulham. What a story. *Jose Mourinho puts his words into action and in fairness has demonstrated he is probably the best manager in the world. You really can see him winning the treble with into (beating the current 1st placed teams in England, Spain, and Germany along the way), before taking over at Real to become the first manager to win the English, Italian and Spanish title's. *It was a definate mistake to go out last night and be met by 15,000 Notts County fans celebrating their success (I'll never get that time back).. *I can see Spurs obtaining the draw at Eastlands to finish up 4th eventually, *and Chelsea have all but won it. (You have to say that all other slips and victories aside, beating United home and away was where the title was won.)
*-Finally, all that, and we've a world cup weeks away.

watch out for mr davies, he's a great manager (if not the best in the chamionship) but he's got the mentality where he thinks he's bigger than the board (a bit like clough!) and i can seeing him walking out of forest, hes already been getting mardy about transfer funds. on the other hand i'm hopeing for an all east midlands final, then at least one of you gets to do the m1 drive home of shame! one of the worst days of my life was that long drive home on a sunny day after gettig beat 2-1 by leicster at wembly.. i was only ten! can't wait for the world cup though, its been long overdue.

I bet Clifton was happy this morning. DJ Campbell to the rescue!
Now, can Leicester overturn a 1-0 deficit, can Nigel Pearson make it back to back promotions and why cant DJ Campbell score like that when he plays for Leicester!?

Right! Time for my four yearly visit to the bookies, I think ;D
Apart from England, who everybody wants and expects to win, of course (except for the Scots), who do you fancy? My second fiver's on Brazil and a wee flutter on SA making the semi-finals.

Spain will be major contenders, I'm expecting Argentina to be quite a force this year too.

subjects for discussion
1) Forest - I'm over it now. Tough pill to swallow as all I've ever wanted was to just see them at wembley.. but we over-achieved this season, and can have no complaints. Pleased for Ollie and Blackpool who went about their business inch perfect. Next year we can go for that title as I do see the league being slightly easier what with the teams coming down being; Pompy-BROKE. Hull-BROKE Burnley-Brian Laws. haha.
2)Fantasy Football. - It went to the final day, but thankfully I swept you all aside. And Loving it.
3)The New Nike Advert. - Wow. What money must have gone into that.
4)The World Cup. - Bring on the month that god gave to mankind. A time when you awaken every single day in the knowledge that Galactic football shall be on your tv in abundance.
My cheeky punts- Argentina to win and Tevez to take the golden boot at [glow=red,2,300]100/1[/glow] was just too sexual for me to not slap that badboy tenner down! Trouble qualifying, and a twat for a manager, but no denying at the firepower of that team. Other than that, It's Spains for the taking. My dark horse team is definatly Serbia. I can see a variety of upsets with them in the frame.

Ive gone for David Villa for the golden boot at 9/1, I had him in the euros at 34/1, bagged me £340 im sticking with him. If you look at Spains group as well with Honduras and Switzerland he might have it sewn up before we leave the group stage. I really do think it might be coming home this year, Spain will be thereabouts and then the enigma that is Argentina, the manager is crackers but they have an awesome squad, paticularly strikers. Any team with Messi in it has to be in with a shout. Im really interested to see who lines up for them because Aguero is the son in law and top scorer in qualifying. Anybody who saw the champs league final will have witnessed the display of Milito for Inter. Higuain was a revelation for Real Madrid this year, 28 goals in 32 starts and some of em were goal of the season contenders. Then theres tevez who works his socks off, Messi will be starting for sure. England, Spain and Brazil were a bit short prices for me so ive gone for an outsider in Holland, picked em last week at 17/1. Robben and Van Persie are matchwinners, Sneijder is quality, then theres Huntelaar, Kuuyt, Ryan Babel, Van Bommel etc. Eljero Elia who was with Steve Mclaren at Fc Twente a couple of years ago is one of the best young wingers ive seen in ages, could emerge as a big star, stick his name into youtube and youll see wot i mean. I agrree about Serbia being dark horses, theyve got some big strong lumps, im hoping ze germans fail 2 get out the group!
