just got home from a 3-0 victory over bottom place MK Dons.. lol, erm i dont think you can really support more than one team.. there are teams I like more than others, but My team is Forest and I want them to beat every team they ever play.. I think it would be silly If I had a team I liked just as equally.. lol or actually, my other supported team..Forest reserves!
BTW I like your thinkin bobmil about Lyon..they look very promising and could be shock finalists or something..but surely that tournament has Barcelona written all over it?

who do you fancy for the Forest job Kezz? As a Sunderland fan I reckon Mick MacCarthy is a good manger at lower league level.

I reckon Glen Roader or Cloughie would sort em out given half a chance.

ooo well at the moment, Frank Barlow and Ian Mcparland are doing better than Forest have seen in ages.. So As long as this promising, unexpected yet unbeaten run continues..They deserve to remain in charge until results say otherwise..
But on the whole, When we do appoint someone, I'd say it clearly has to be someone with experience, or a proven managerial abilty, hopefully with a style of football that suits us..unlike the shite our recent past mangers have produced.
After saying this it doesn't leave too many options..So really whoever I say is probably going to be very optimistic and unlikly.
I really don't know what to think of these suggestions of the likes of Roy Keane and co tho..

Leicester City.................. Up the Blues As much as it pains me to say, its a shame forest wont be promoted this season im missing the Forest v Leicester matches, easy 3 points (for Leicester) They shouldn't appoint anyone till the end of the season though, leave the caretaker in charge. Look at Rob Kelly at Leicester, the mans a flipping genius.

Can I just point out that it IS possible to support more than one team. Not really. You have to have one died in the wool team thats your team. Preferably your local team in the town you were born in! It's what its about or at least should be! Okay you may have a 'fondness' or even a slight loyalty to another like at ours some have a connection with Rangers and Chelsea, but it's more the 'lad' side of things but you should only be supporting one team. You're own, in my opinion! Like when people say... "I'm from Southend so I support them but I support Man United as well because we're shit."I hate that, and it shows the meaning is lost!

Can I just mention that I have no interest in football. haha ;D
It's like Jerry Seinfeld once said, all you're really supporting and shouting for is a particular colour football strip. Over time, the players change, the managers change and you're lucky if you can find many players that actually come from the town in which their team is based.
I'm not getting into any arguments about this, because I couldn't care less. hehe. ;D

Althouhgh there are a lot of absurdities to watching football, especially how much it costs to attend nowadays but if you've got it in ya YOUTH then its there for ever for better or worse. N.B Kezz your probably right about Lyon/Barca the unfortunate thing is they would meet in the semis. Starting to love Barcas dominance, at least they play the game right and theyve got enough physical presence to really do the Italians, especially with Milans ageing defence

Well well well, if Seinfeld ever got his arse down to a Celtic or Liverpool match im sure it'd start making sense. Celtic fans are absolutely mental, amazingly vocal and amazingly loyal, likewise for liverpool. Awesome
Well its certainly not the shirt colour the managers or the players the fans support, its the team. Sense of community/belonging etc etc
Ive been a season ticket holder at leicester for four seasons now, and apart from the odd good patch (like now), there pretty flaming bad. Although you'll never catch me supporting anyone else, I dont think you can 'support' more than one team, you can like more than one team, but to truely support is completely different.

Awesome Don't mean to sound like the annoying one that always has a comment to make, but Forest could be placed in your list of loyal supporters aswell.. we havnt been as low as this league in 50 years, but still have an average attendence of around 20 thousand every game!

I agree, just thought they'd be a good example. When Celtic came down to Leicester it was awesome. They pretty much took over the centre of town, didn't stop singing the whole match. Could't understand a word they were saying though. Forest coming to Leicester is always a laugh, just screaming abuse at each other for 90mins.
Hopefully we'll stuff Preston on Saturday.....

yea i reckon thats a pretty good guess..I don't think Villareal will lose tonight tho..they havnt lost at home yet in this whole tournament..infact I wouldn't be shocked if they scraped past arsenal..even though its unlikly. But yeah Barcelona want this bad, and I doubt any other team will get in their way.
