They reckon its close to a sell out. So it either a spanking for you boys or we fuck it up and lose 1-0.
The past few years have taught me to be cautious but i'm pretty damn excited about whats happening at the min.
The atmosphere amongst the fans the past couple of games has been awesome.

I can imagine. When Rob Kelly took over toward the end of last season it was an amazing atmosphere, this is my first season for 4 years without a season ticket so haven't a clue what its like down the Walkers stadium at the moment. Like you say though, dont count the chickens etc
Fingers crossed we scrape it 0-4

I hope Forest do go up. I know that no teams have a divine right to be in the top league but it just pisses me off that teams like wigan and Watford are up there getting less than 20,000 through the gate. Good on them for getting there and everything but it does make me bitter cos theres teams like sunderland, forest and leeds that would get over 30,000 every week up there.
Oh well, I suppose your fan base counts for nothing if you can't do it on the pitch. 2009 - Sunderland Premier League Champions!

2009 - Sunderland Premier League Champions! Oh my side ache, Leicester for Champions League 2010..... Nice point shared on Saturday though Mackem I enjoyed watching Chelsea and Liverpool kicking chunks out of each other on Sunday though, they missed Robbens face unfortunately.

Apparently Leicester were the better team. Listened to it on some local station I picked up in Notts and we were lucky with our substitution to get a goal. You must have been bad so far this seaon though cos I thought the Leicester commentator was going to cum live on air about your performance.
Plus he started describing our quality stadium as a bleak North Eastern scene. Compared to fooking Leicester - the skid mark of the East Midlands (no offence).
But at the end of the day Leicester were a lot better than I expected - fair play to them and hopefully this might give your season a push. I'd rather see your lot doing well than the likes of Wolves or Leeds or Birmingham etc..

Not having a pop or anything Makem, but it's a bit rich coming from someone who's fans are one of the most fickle in Britain. Yourselves and the Geordies are as bad as each other. When the chips are down you just don't wanna know! I've been to Roker Park numerous times, and on one occasion in the mid-to-late 80's you struggled to get 9,000 through the gate. I've been to Newcastle too, when we (Oldham) were top of the division (Circa 1991) and the attendance that day was in the region of 13,000 with 2,000 coming from Oldham. I know you can say "well, it was only Oldham" but it was still a poor showing back then. Middlesbrough too, used to get gates of around 3-4,000 in the mid 80's when they nearly went under. So I'm all for the so called lesser teams doing well and the so-called giants struggling in the lower leagues. I don't particularly like Wigan, but to see them put a good team together and compete with the likes of Spuzz, Everton and Villa is a joy to see. I'd like nothing better than Southend, Luton and Colchester to go up this season and for Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds and West Brom to go down!

But There are teams that you would naturally associate with higher divisions than what they currently are.. I'd be happy For Wednesday if they did get back to the old winning ways.. (Also because I really Do [glow=red,2,300]HATE[/glow] Sheff Utd..) & Iv said this before but I shall say it Again.. Forest have been In this appauling League for the 2nd season running now.. & in a response to previous comments made to Sunderland about fans deserting their club when it gets tough.. U have to give it to us for Still Gettin an average attendance of 20,000 every week.. Compared to fooking Leicester - the skid mark of the East Midlands (no offence). Leicesters lovely ;D Oh I Duno Davros, I think Mackem Pretty much got it Spot on there.. ;D..

Aye Kezz, I do doff my cap in Forests' direction. Out of all the teams that have managed to find themselves in this dungeon of a division (And we've been here TEN fooking seasons now), Forest are by far the most decorated and biggest 'scalp'.
Thing is, every large side that have found themselves here have struggled to adjust and get out. Man City, Sheffield Wednesday both took a squeeze through the play-offs and now Forest's bubble has seemingly burst a bit, they may find it difficult once again.
Wonder who the first ex Premiership side to get relegated to the Conference will be?

Wonder who the first ex Premiership side to get relegated to the Conference will be? Ooo It has to be Swindon! 1. Because Dennis Wise is their manager and, 2. Because Dennis Wise is a cocky little prat Not because they beat us in the playoffs or anything mind you!
