I know this sounds (and is) pretty daft, but Bible Pimp really moves me......'you're just a dirty TPB.'. Arghh, a gentle heart is broken....Sob I know what you mean... I think the line is: "Fuck off you greasy trailer park boy!" Adds another spiteful level to all her levels of deceit and we've never seen sexy-Julian emotionally hurt like that before. J-Roc's secret knock to get into the 'Slick Pimp' cracks me up every time.

Never can remember lines...As we discovered at the end of season 6, Julian might be greasy, but he has the biggest heart in the Park I loaned season 3 to somebody months and months ago-really must retrieve it; need to watch Ricky's court appearance again Btw: Conky is the evil tormentor of Ricky (Robb Wells) (1); who appeared in 'A Hole in One' with Meatloaf (2); who appeared in 51st State with Robert Carlyle (3); who was directed in OUTM by.....(4). Large and JT aren't the only geeks on site Edit: PS, somebody's started a This is England thread on the TPB site.

Robb Wells in "Hole In One" with Meatloaf? ?? haha Have you actually seen that, or have you been cheating on IMDB? I can't imagine seeing Mr Wells as any other character now... although I bet if I did, I would be put at ease thanks to his massive talent. Jill, post a link to the trailer park boys site that has the This Is England thread. There are so many TPBs sites about, I don't know where to start!

Dave: www.trailerparkboys.org/forums/index.php?topic=7238.0No I haven't seen Hole in One (shame on me), although I did see 51st State (unfortunately). Julian is also in Hole in One. Edit: watched 'Working Man' again yesterday. This episode hasn't cropped up much on the thread, but it must surely be one of the best??? Lahey: 'Am I crazy Rick, or is this the way the world ends?'

Hi folks, I'm still struggling to get much time at the computer so please excuse my infrequent visits at the moment. I think I would agree with most of the points made by both Jill and Dave regarding the content of the film and would also have to say that upon first viewing I was a little underwhelmed. As i mentioned previously however, a second viewing ironed out the creases for me and I really enjoyed it. I think possibly because we are all TPB diehards it was slightly disjointed on an initial viewing, due to the almost neutrality of a fixed time point in relation to the series. Having said that I can't really think of too many TV series that have managed a succesful transformation to the big screen for precisely that reason. I see the points made about the Gentleman's Club and the boobies but apart from the flesh I thought some of it worked quite well. I thought the club owner was a character worth developing and Julian's girlfriend was perhaps the best match for him since the Bible Pimp episode. P.S. Dave, I don't know if I'd had too much to drink the night I watched the deleted scenes and extras, but I found J-Roc's Knowahmsayin fly hilarious!!

P.S. Dave, I don't know if I'd had too much to drink the night I watched the deleted scenes and extras, but I found J-Roc's Knowahmsayin fly hilarious!! Yeah, that scene is pretty funny... I was referring to the other deleted scene where it's J-Roc and 'T' speaking to Ricky and Julian in a trailer. It seems that in Canada 'the boys' are doing book signings for that Trailer Park Boys companion book at the moment in book shops through Canada! Lucky sods! Next... Good news/bad news: Good news.... HOLY SWEET FLYING FUCK!!! First episode of Season 7 is now up on the Showcase website to watch online a week before broadcast! Bad news... I get a message saying the video is not available in my country! COCKSUCKER!!! www.showcase.ca/tpb/videos.aspxFirst episode seems to be called "I Fuckin' Miss Cory and Trevor" Anyone know haw to trick a website into thinking you are logged on in Canada? I'm sure I read about it once. Something to do with using some weird sites to make it seem as though your IP address is Canadian.

Just noticed something else on the Showcase site. Some new desktop wallpapers. Take a look at this one for some tantalising clues about Season 7! www.showcase.ca/tpb/images/Wallpapers/trailerDesktop3_1024.jpgGoing by the sign on the van (can't read the name) seems like Phil and Randy have opened a burger van! Class! "Off the burgers!?! That's crazy talk!!" Lucy is pregnant??? Real Trinity is back! HOORAH! The guys in the top right are possible Cory and Trevor replacements? Look quality! Is that Jacob with dark hair and beard and tash next to Sarah??

I can't work out why non-Canadians are debarred from accessing the first episode of season 7. 'suppose it's some kind of legal/contractual rights issue re: international distributors??? Seems pretty mean. Wonder when we'll get to see it?
Thought for the day:
'Who in this park, or even in the whole world, doesn't have problems? Who doesn't have a drink too many times once in a while and maybe even winds up passed out in their own driveway, pissing themselves? Who doesn't drink too much sometimes or who doesn't have a puff from time to time? And who doesn't have problems with the people they love? This is our home. This is our community.'

Who doesn't drink too much sometimes or who doesn't have a puff from time to time? And who doesn't have problems with the people they love? This is our home. This is our community.' I like it.... we should really be quoting TPBs more often in this thread... everytime I watch an episode, there are so many lines I want to remember for the purposes of quoting! haha. This little review of the film from last year reminded me of some great quotes from the film: Donny: "Get off the court guys, I told you your time is up!" Ricky: "Suck it Donny!" Donny: "You suck it..... more" Ricky: "What kind of a comeback is that, I said 'suck it', and you just added 'more' to it." Donny: "..cos it's more.... you suck it more." Haha.... it's all in the impeccable delivery though really. The 'trendy' reviewer bloke really pin-points the huge feeling of goodwill you give the film when you're a fan: "It's like seeing your buddies up there on the big screen" Doesn't sound much, but when you think about it, I can't think of any other charactes in anything that I feel the same way about.
