Remember that thread with all those links to YouTube in.... well I've now gone and accidently deleted the whole thing like a right ham-fisted clown. I had got rid of the links anyway, as it appears that one in particular was making people sick. Nice.  Anyway, sorry if the first links were harmless fun, but I thought I'd better get shot of the 'dodgy' one.... don't want things to escalate to the point where have a thread about 'laughing at corpses' (exageration there hopefully). Nice one mate I did like the idea of a links thread, I am DEAD against out of order video's on the net, disrespectful video's of people dying etc.
That said though there are a lot of video's on the net that are hilarious and just good fun.

We had threads ages ago of Google and YouTube videos, and it never got 'manky', just good clean fun! To be fair, I didn't watch the vid that I presumed was a bit sick, so I could be wrong about it. But then it seems to have made two people feel sick. Not usually a good sign as a rule of thumb. Just because something is on YouTube, doesn't mean it is therefore 'not TOO dodgy because YouTube wouldn't allow it'..... YouTube is regulated primarily by it's users, so until someone complains about something, it will stay online quite merrily. There was a BBC news story the other day about a YouTube video of a man in Britain who bit the head off of a live mouse. The man is being tracked down to be prosecuted. The rules of YouTube don't allow that sort of thing on there, but it was there none-the-less. So there you go. Be wary net ramblers. P.S. If you're the kind of person who, after having read the story of the mouse biting video, is now actively trying to find said video online... it's probably a safe bet to assume that your idea of fun videos won't be welcome on here. |

A shining example of both the genius and stupidity of the internet Here's another one from my YouTube top five... perhaps the least-known, but in my opinion the funniest (and best edited) of the Brokeback Mountain pisstakes. It's closely followed by The Chuck Norris Drinking Game, where you have to down a shot every time you hear the words either 'Chuck' or 'Norris'. Stomach pump on standby. |

A mate sent me it ages ago and i truley found it disturbing, did it freak a few out? i know it had me looking away which is a new one in my book.
Can we get another thread going just sticking to funny ones as the fat kid in the stream and that dick jumping flat on his face were funny as.

It pretty much was your vid JT that caused all the trouble. I didn't watch it, because I happily don't get an urge to look at sicked-up vids. Links to fun vids is cool, but to be honest, I'm not too keen on videos that are just there for the purpose of laughing at others expense. But then that's probably just me.... but sadly for you lot, I'm the Mary Whitehouse of this site! ;D Just use your common sense. The internet maybe a place where unregulated stuff can exist, but not in this little corner of it it isn't. Let the debate begin! |
