This one's doing the rounds at the moment, so you've maybe seen it. I liked it:

I've seen that one at least a couple of times -- I thought it was a riot! ("It started out as Hogwarts, now it's Lord of the Flies...")

I've been upset tonight by a video going around Facebook where two youths are diving and the second one hits his face full on, on wood. He is then shown in hospital with the front of his face completely gaping open, showing his teeth and him struggling to breath. I was really upset. Can't believe that people casually post and comment on this stuff (even though I'm posting here). Then I thought that the person filming it in the first place must have known the poor fella as who else would be in the hospital. It's like there's no respect left in the world when I see something like this and if anyone I knew was so badly injured and footage of it ended up on the web I'd be really upset. What with phone cameras and everything it's like anything that happens in public is public material. I just seem to think that we're forgetting all respect with stuff like this and I really hope that the fella's family never see this. I've reported it to Facebook although it, technically, doesn't violate their terms because it isn't violence. I placed it in the "gory" category. Just horrible.

People underestimate the damage wood can do when in the wrong hands. Ive seen so many videos of untrained handlers getting caught out and as as you say, recieveing a face full of wood, full on. Wood has to be treated with respect people. Although, are you sure its not one of those promotional 'DO NOT BE STUPID' videos from the NHS? Like the pregnancy one they shot in Leicester.. and the one you talk about obviously being Tombstoning?

Now Sid Vicious wasn't a clever chap, but one of my favourite quotes comes from him. When asked if he wrote for the 'man on the street', he said; "I've met the man on the street, and he's a c**t.

My nephew has been playing around with a movie maker style proggy called Power director and has got me interested. Here's a little video I made to the old Stallone movie 'Nighthawks' score. Nearest I'll ever get to film making haha.

Not technically a YouTube video, but I saw this in the Guardian this weekend and had to have a look - theworstmusicvideos.com/There are some great videos on there, particularly Speak and Steklovata... and by great I mean really awful...

Made quite a few youtube movie tribute vids of late, including In Bruges, The Crying Game, Reservoir Dogs, Taking of Pelham123 (1974) and Dead Man's Shoes of course. Sorry for the shameless plug (though some of you may enjoy them), not getting many views though you know how it is? Channel here www.youtube.com/sinbad0910And for an example of this sort of thing done to perfection
