as long as the only people who lose out are nerds who buy technology as soon as it comes out i think we can say it's a win-win situation.....

We don't really have to worry about our DVD collections do we? I mean we'll be abkle to play DVDs for many many years to come wont we? All blu-ray and HD-DVD players play DVDs and should also upscale them to 1080p so that they look the best they possible can on an HD TV. The PS3 upscales DVDs and there is a noticeable improvement compared to playing a normal DVD player through an HD TV.

New Line Cinema and HBO are now also Blu-Ray exclusive. Something to do with the fact that they somehow fall under Warner Bros umbrella of smaller companies. All good news though.
The Blu-Ray consortium cockily remarked:
"We look forward to seeing the first HD version of The Matrix (Warner Bros), and The Lord of the Rings (New Line) on Blu-Ray disc"
Not bothered about the Matrix myself, but can't wait to see The Lord of the Rings on Blu-Ray. Both of those trilogies will be huge sellers.

I completed Call of Duty 4 brilliant game, I want Call of Duty 3, wasnt long ago I was playing 2 on the 360 and even that was brilliant.
I got Resistance Fall of Man and to be honest its not AMAZING or anything, run and shoot with none of the excitement or attention to detail as other games. This was the launch game with the ps3 while gears of war was with the ps3, well gears is the better game, although that was a year ago and I preffer the ps3 now (hey mine broke gimme a break)
