I help organise an anti-racism film festival in Slough- it's called the Same Difference Film Festival We've been given permission to show This is England - it's basically the biggest film of our festival (Details below). I thought I'd mention it here a) because I've been lurking on here a lot and know many visitors here want to see it and [glow=red,2,300] b) to ask Mr Meadows whether he could open our festival. [/glow]I realise you have a lot of engagements and having you do a Q and A or speech would be brilliant. Equally though, if you can't make it but could recommend someone else associated with TIE then that would be great too. Details of the showing: When: Tue 27th Mar, 2007 Where: Slough Empire Cinema Film starts at 8.30 Price: £5.00 Buy tickets here: www.wegottickets.com/event/16621If anyone on here is going to come along then give me a call to get a place at the launch- We're doing food and drinks in the bar area from 7.30pm onwards.
