Praise be! It's on at the multiplex from this Friday. Common sense prevails.

I must admit I too have a healthy contempt for students which began when I was at uni myself.....although I don't think it's necessarily exactly the same bunch that Paul Calf hated....I've never actually seen a student pay for a bag of chips with a cheque for example.....
For me it's the modern breed of trendy, affluent (and largely southern) students who:
talk loudly on the bus use the word 'random' a lot refer to celebrities by prefixing 'the' before their surname say 'I'm loving' stuff....(perfect example is 'I'm loving the hoff') sit in student pubs playing giant connect 4 only ever go to the same 80's student night, invariably in some kind of fancy dress wear 3/4 length trousers sandals and a vest in pub beer gardens are often called will

Ok, not sure where to say this, so saying it here. Up until the trailers for T.I.E. , I had never heard of Shane or his films, but after getting hooked on the trailer, I found this site, then found HMV was my best place to get his films. I have just watched A Room For Romeo Brass and Dead Mans Shoes. What a roller coaster of emotions...Dead Mans Shows really did disturb me, as my youngest son has Down Syndrome, and this film really does bring some of your worst nightmares to life. I am waiting now for 24/7 to arrive, I dont know what to expect, but know it will be well worth watching. This Is England when out on DVD will be the cream on my tea..... Shane I know its been said hundreds of times, but just wanted to say it myself, Thanks for sharing these films with us..... they are very emotional and touching, and mean a lot to some of us. Its like a quick step back in time, Thank You. And also a big thanks to Mr Considine..... your amazing, really play the roles perfect. Big Hi to Vicky M, wow..... There is a saying Old Hippies never die they just smell that way. Shane leaves his DM footprints on his films.... as someone who grew up at the sametime, into the same music, you really give me DeJaVu. Eerie.

Right, having bought the soundtrack today and having looked at the pictures, I do hope that there are some deleted scenes. In other words, with the CD fold out sleeve, there are stills that I didn't see in the film.
And of course, there's got to be a few commentries and a few interviews with Shane, Tomo and the gang. It would be incomplete otherwise.

Hmm the stills may not be from film footage, might be from the on-set photographer. Not so say there won't be deleted scenes, there certainly will be! Its just you may not see the stills in the deleted scenes!
