Great Film Shane, Sally & I went to see it on Monday night at the Odeon in Stoke. You would have peed yourself over the performance we had choosing our seats! Fantastic, I was speechless, you've done yourself proud lad - we're proud of you. Lisa & Sal.

What can I say, it's the most emotional I've been since 'Lassie Come Home' and 'National Velvet' all those childhood years ago. Awesome, and I wonder if you'd consider using the money to do a remake of 'The Harder They Come'? (Perhaps after King of the Gipsies).

Brilliant good to see a U.K director having success with the film giants of what has been an American dominated film culture, where so few are based on social realism, or even truly reflecting English U.K culture!
Also it is good to have a diverse casting from the U.K I have nothing against international casts but have seen a lot of lead parts being played by the Americans or the story lines adapted for their culture, few really feel all that authentic in comparison with DMS or TIE! This is naturally dependent on story line with the forth comeing Somers Town agin authentisity is kept with the Pole cast.
The Meadows formula works so Shane should not be pushed away from his directorial style.
