Hi Everyone,
I didn't say Hello when I first joined a couple of weeks ago - I posted a message elsewhere but thought I better say Hi as it is rude not too!
This is an excellent forum with so many diverse topics to talk about - you can get lost for hours.
Wish everyone the best and keep doing what makes you happy.
Lisa

Well this isn't the only forum I use! I'm also on a forum called 'Back to the old skool' which is centered on the old rave scene from 1988 - 1993. Sunrise, Energy, Rage, Perception, Fantazia, Raindance, Fun City, Orange, Shoom, Spiral Tribe, Bedlam, Circus Warp, DiY. Moving Shadow, Suburban Base, Automation, Warp, Beat Box International, Basement Records, CityBeat, Dance Opera, DJ International, Fokus Recordings, Great Asset, Kickin Records, R+S, Hithouse, Mackenzie, Music Man, Production House, Rising High, Tam Tam, Reinforced. If those names mean anything to you then you'll know what I mean.

Thanks Guys for the welcomes. I wasn't into the rave scene - I spent those years at my local Rock Night Spot! People used to come from miles to this place which was in the middle of nowhere in Staffordshire, it closed down a couple of years ago - I was so upset on the last night that I sat on the carpark and cried!

Like some others here this is the first time I've posted on a forum and just wanted to drop a line to say Hi to Shane and all members. I was directed here by Rydian via facebook, so cheers Rydian, your spot on it's a top site. Have been such a Shane Meadows fan since Room For Romeo Brass came out. He's also the only person I've ever written fan mail to (but didn't send it for fear of looking like a Sycophant or stalker). I'm so chuffed to find so many other people who really love Shane's work. I feel like I've been a one man bandwagon for so long coaxing, threatening and blackmailing people I meet in to watching these films. Probably the biggest complement I can give is that everyone I lend them to is blown away, from people who love and work in film and television to people like my brother (whose only DVD is Top Gun) everyone comes back saying how amazing they are.

Hello
Shane's movies are certainly the tits..je les aime. So I'm very excited to be here. Just joined today, so thought I'd say hullo!
Also, yeah, this is the only forum I've ever spent any time looking at either really, probably because Shane is the man. Enough sucking up? I think so, hehe.

Shane
Would you consider being an inspiration to my 6th Form students? I am responsible for the Art and Culture chunk of A-Level General Studies and Photography at a school in Lincoln. Bed and breakfast will be provided by me and the wife, and your entourage's travelling expenses will be met by the schools slush fund. Interested?
