Ayup.
Another new member here just saying hello.
I found Shane's films by chance a couple of years ago - saw Dead Man's Shoes on channel 4 and have been hooked since. Dont have a particular favourite film and have enjoyed them all in different ways.
Sat chilling with a beer, listening to 'Afterlight' - classic track

I don't know how I ended up here. I was started out looking for a job and somewhere along the line I've lost my way...
But, anyway, thought I'd stop and say hello. It goes without saying that I'm a big fan of Shane's work, but I am also really impressed by this site and by Shane's openess. I'm pretty sure I can kill the rest of my afternoon by mooching round the archives.
So good work all, you've played a blinder.

thanks shane, for your mint films. without sounding badly cheesy, i want to say to you and all yous other ordinary filmmakers, that yous've helped me feel like there's a hope in hell of me being able to live the dream ;P. i want to be a director when i'm older, but teachers, careers advisors, friends and family do a good job of scaring me off. It's seeing other filmmakers and their hard work paying off, that keeps me going. im not, strictly speaking, a british director, but yous show me that i could make it in britain, ta muchly for your films, and for the (unintentional) help they give me.

alright mush, ive been a member for a year and a bit now, I always checked up for news on projects and stuff but never really posted anything so i've just created a new account so i can go ahead and do just that.
Oh ive got a film posted in the 'film making' forum bit so if youve got a spare 5 mins for some bleak, no-narrative Brian Eno based fun then please go and check it out!

Is it worth me saying hello again? How long have I been away?
Found two jobs, worked two jobs, made me tired, gave up one job, still working at job whilst on dreaded short-term contracts. Stopped writing scripts ages ago but I always tend to think about things to write about.
