I sent out a personal message to everyone on the forum to make them aware of this experiment (sorry, it wasn't messages to specially selected people.. but thanks for the replies!  ).... so if that doesn't fill all the slots, it'll be a right sorry state of affairs. |

out of interest dave what are you going to do with it when it's finished.....? just stick it on here? if you're struggling for numbers stick me down for an early one.....not the first though, maybe c.....and apologies if this is a daft question, but how are we meant to record the audio....?

Errr.... if you can't record your own audio, then you shouldn't be involved! LargeMichael.... Davros has got R, but it seemed to be a random choice... perhaps you can get him to let you have it. |

It's not such a daft question Dave...we're not all techno wizzes you know. I'm assuming I can record mine on me MP3 player and that plugs into the computer, so there must be a way to transfer it........I'll get my kids to do it for me |

No one should worry about the quality of their recording, just so long as we can hear what you are saying. |

It'll be a .wav file or something in a directory called 'VOICE', if it's owt like mine.
I've got 3 recordings on mine. 2 rehearsals for this and a negative (yeah, I make a habit of that) review of the first 3 seconds of ITV's 'Headcases'.
I also may use it for another thing I'm working on.

What kind of time scale are you looking at Dave cos i'd like to do one but only if i had time to perfect it. I'd be interested in slot A which i presume is Roland Rat onwards.

I don't think there will be any rush on... Jill has already warned us that she probably won't be able to do it until the end of the month. I have popped you in slot A sir! Oh, and don't worry about perfection unless you really want to! INFO FOR ALL!
Just to let you all know, once I have filled all the slots, I will send a personal message to all involved to let you know that you can do your recording whenever you like and send it to me. |
