Hey, I'm funny me - my Mam says so... well, she said I was 'always a bit funny'. She also said I was 'a wit' - most people reckon she was half right. N.

I'm sorry I'm losing the plot here. Chewy, ages ago on the forum ran an occasional thread titled "Your Mama's so fat..." which was fun for a while. Some of the spontaneous comedy on here has me giggling like a loon.

GADGE! Now YOU are welcome to come around our house any time wi' comments like that - I'll even let you have my best cup (the one with a pic. of a dog with a flat cap on). Cheers for that comment - I do like having a laugh (when appropriate to do so) and that's why I like it. As for the 'Yo Mamma' jokes... I love 'em - offensive but funny! I've a raft of 'em somewhere... if ever you want me to inflict - let me know. N.

NO PROBLEM MATE YOU SITE IS REALLY FUN LOVE THE DIHOREA STORY (I CANT SPEEL IT ) AND I REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF LAUGHTER THERAPY IM A STRONG BELEIVER IN MIND OVER MATTER AND WILL POWER. GADGE! Oh aye, the 'diarrhoea' story... the mad thing is... on my vid version of that story, I spell the thing wrong... considering it being about how it was the first word I ever learned to spell, that irony for ye! The think with Laughter Therapy etc. is although it's pointing out the obvious the basic philosophy is this: "Having a laugh makes you feel better and can help improve your mood". Ruddy obvious I know, but it's all about actually putting that into practice when possible (obviously not at bad times... that's just 'making yourself laugh' sort of, and won't work). Way I do it - if you want a 'boost' - stick some comedy tackle on a DVD or vid... maybe just half an hour's worth, and then see if that has any pos. effect. Again, it sounds obvious and it IS obvious, but as I say, making the effort to do that is part of what it's about. If you ever want any more info. on this/links etc. get back to me - I've a sh*tload of stuff. N.

CHEERS MATEY GUNNA GIVE THIS STUFF AGO BIT OF FAMILY GUY B4 I GO OUT ETC GADGE! Now you can't go wrong with 'Family Guy' - my absolute fave. is that... oh... and season six is coming out on DVD, 15th October! Here... now this is a good one that made me laugh out loud... As I said on another thread, I'd borrowed a 'dodgy' version DVD of 'T.I.E.' - had to... couldn't wait until my official release copy comes on 3rd Sept. as I'd not seen the film due to sh*tty local cinemas only showing briefly, and my work shift f*cking up my hances to see... anyhow, that aside... I showed my missus the scene where you're 'getting yer moneys worth' off Milky's draw (or 'ganja' or whatever you want to call it). "See him there" I says. "Who" replies Mrs. Chewbaxter, "him jigging about with the bottle of water?" "Aye," I says in my northern accent "well, he were very complimentary about my website and particularly my 'diarrhoea' story" So once more, I've got a 'claim to fame' here, so thanks for that! N. P.S. What? My other claims to fame... here you are: * Meeting 'Iron Maiden' singer Bruce Dickinson, and telling him the novel he wrote was sh*t! * Meeting John McCririck outside a betting shop in Hindley near Wigan. * Meeting Tom Baker and having a chat with him which was insightful yet surreal. Oh yes, I've lived me - Cheers once again Gadge... who knows, one day I may even end up in a film with you - start dropping hints to people - I'll work for peanuts!

LOL CHEWY THATNKS FOR POINTING ME OUT OUT MATEY SALTED OR ROASTED? THEY ALWAYS ASK WHEN I SAY THEY'LL WORK FOR PEANUTS HEHE! GADGE! It'd have to be Planters... Dry Roasted - you know you've got a good batch when you open the pack and it smells like a bad f*rt! By heck, I'll be accused of hobnobbing with 'the stars' here... mind you, hobnobbing is better than *rselicking! Nah... it's just a bit mad to say I've corresponded with someone famous you see - and someone who likes my material - now THERE'S flattery! Oh, but I've met other famous folk 'in real life' (not that I'm saying the internet is not real though ) - yep, I had the good fortune to meet Fred Dibnah at his home not long before he passed away - I even helped him rivet a boiler door for a 193odd tractor - now how many folk have done that? By the way Gadge - Family Guy... favourite character? For me - has to be Stewie - by heck, they KNOW how to do a proper English accent on there... not like on 'The Simpsons'. By the way - what other comedy you into just out of interest - same question to everyone by the way! N.
