Now bear with me... I'm not doing this to be an *rse licker folks, I'm being genuine here... Best thing about here is that Shane comes in and replies to threads as well as posting his own. I'm on a lot of forums, a lot that are 'official' too... and the majority - well the 'stars' to whom the forum is dedicated - they will rarely visit, and often if they do it's just to post and not to 'join in' - kind of a 'Look at this everyone' thing going on with no interaction! But Shane, I have to say - thee's got it right - yer 'keeping it real' (word up bro!  ). As I said, I'm not here crawling... it's belting to chat with fans and EVEN BETTER when the mo himself joins in! What a youth! Reet - I'd best be off - I've getten two dogs that need to have a Brad Pitt - and then I'll have to go to Asda for some furniture polish! By heck, I know how to live me, you know! N. |

The Best Thing About This Forum Is... Its me, isnt it? you got me there... I meant to say that! Opposite to me really... people have photos of me on their mantlepiece to keep the kids away from the fire - and people take an instant dislike to me in order to save time! On a roll now son... Me Mam was going to all me 'Monday' instead of Neil... she took one look and said to my Dad "Let's call it a day" - in fact, when I was born, the midwife slapped my Dad instead of me... And as a kid, they used to tie a pork chop around my neck so the dog would play with me. Friends? Well, I had an imaginary friend called Toby... but sadly, his Imaginary Dad got a job down south so he had to move away! I'll leave it at that... Other than to say, another good thing about this forum is the HUMOUR people use... mine being the exception here, but this a a corking place to come for a laugh! N. |

Are you trying to develop a fan base through this forum. This stuff is really funny. Carolyn x Honestly? No... I wasn't, but your comments are very much appreciated! I'm here as a 'Shane Fan', but I post my cr*p on various forums on the 'net and am well into humour and laughter therapy... I've done some 'workshops' on that, plus I've done a bit of 'stand up' in the past which I did when out playing the folk clubs ('Mike Harding' sort of stuff if you recall). I also FAILED to get on 'Britain's Got Talent' after fookin' up an audition - how bad must I have been considering the CACK they had on there eh? What about... me after a fan base? Me being funny? Both? Oh heck, I'm disillusioned now... typica 'comedian' - the tears behind the laughter... the anxiety and depression beneath the 'veneer of wit'. I had a bad childhood as you know... a shocking revelation yesterday though: My Mam finally admitted she can do ventriloquism... For years I thought it was the dog telling me to bump off my Dad! And earlier - I was overtaken by a Yamaha PSR 175 whilst on the motorway! So what? How embarassed woul you be - it's a ruddy keyboard!!! Oh yes... all gems these...
