Meadows will also appear as part of the In Person series of interviews, alongside cinematic luminaries such as local hero Brian Cox, legendary documentarian Errol Morris and special effects guru Ray Harryhausen." I can do 'Lendon' in a day but not Edinburg. And not consecutively! Although it's a thought...
Enjoy, all who go. Make notes! Record it! The interview not ST. And good luck to Mr Meadows with the award.

Cool, I've decided to volunteer at EIFF this year, part time and it seems I can get into nearly anything for free so I'll probably try and get into the Saturday screening too. Bought tickets for the friday night and Shane in person stuff though cos I didn't want to be refused entry.

£30-odd for a trip to Edinburgh and a film. Saturday seems the best to get there and get back to Newcastle in time to get ha'em.
I'm still in the 'maybe' pile but given that it's conveniently on the weekend, I shall give this further thought.

I seem to be very lucky with these meet up things. I was in Edinburgh at the time of the Glasgow film festival and it looks like I'll be there again on this weekend-with a hire van picking up my daughter's gear. Anyways, not sure how it'll pan out, but I would certainly like to see Somers Town (and you fine people, of course), so fingers crossed.
