I've been redirected from Paddy's site for this possible opportunity to see Le Donk first. I live in Birmingham so i'm close enough for either venue and just been made redundant so plenty of time on my hands to get there at short notice!(every cloud ay?!) Any chance of me + 1 too? Gary ( feeling like donnie F****** darko man ;D)

Yes, I'd like a pop at seeing Donk. Only in Sheffield though.

I'd be up for it with any luck - any idea of dates?

Has owt happened with this yet? Not unless 'they' are coordinating the screening covertly via private messaging. Saying that though, im sure the 'impending baby arrival' is taking priority..

Can anyone tell me the track playing over the trailer for Le Donk please? Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere else on the forum.

I would love to attend a screening if it's still going ahead/hasn't happened yet.
If you need a hand organising anything, I work front of house at a cinema in London if you're coming this way at all? - And can pass you through to my manager.
Also, belated congratulations on the news that you'll be a dad.
Take care Shane!

Can anyone tell me the track playing over the trailer for Le Donk please? Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere else on the forum. It's a track by the blind Mali duo Amadou and Mariam from their Manou Chow produced album "Dimanche A Bamako" which is pretty much brilliant throughout. Someone heard it playing in the "World Music" section of the music listings on a BA flight, fell in love with it, and mentioned it to Shane a while back.... Jill - asking to bring non-maniacs to a screening? Shocking!..er..not! You should see who comes out of the woodwork at the exclusive "cast & crew" screenings I get to go to!! The questions I always want answering are, "who on earth are these people?" and "Where were they at 6am on that freezing cold wet morning when the film crew toilets were blocked and yours truly was knocking on nearby houses waking up the neighbours and begging for a plunger?" I shit you not.. ;D ;D ;D

Cheers RichK, just located and purchased it on Itunes, sounds excellent on first hearing, track from Le Donk is Politic Amagni, appropriately French for Le Donk WHO by the way played a huge part in getting 3 points for West Brom in his debut away at Middlesborough on Saturday (Le Ryan Donk, as I have renamed him ;D)

NEWS FLASH!
Despite clearly being a transparent ploy to get the fan commentary finished, the following is now true:
All contributors to the This Is England fan commentary are guaranteed an invite to the Le Donk screening (whenever it happens) and will therefore be given first refusal!
I'll send out a forum wide PM about it tomorrow, but in the mean time, feel free to sign up to the spare places on the commentary (check out the 3rd Time Lucky post about it in the This Is England section).

So somebody who signs up today who is a confident speaker and can get this done will get priority over forum members who would love to have contributed but are not able to due to either lack of confidence or ability? Im not just speaking about myself i know that there are others out there who didnt feel able to do this despite there love, knowledge and interest in Shanes films.
