Good morning all. We're having a bit of a debate at work this morning trying to figure out who this is. The guys reckon Eddie Marson. I'm willing to bet my right nut it's not. www.imdb.com/name/nm0550371/Can anyone help? TIE’86 was incredible btw. Keep up the good work Shane. Neil.

Definitely looks like him and that's exactly who I thought it was when I saw the show on Tuesday. If it’s not him, he’s his double.

(Mick): www.imdb.com/name/nm0364890/I also didn't recognise him at first. He was great in London to Brighton. Can this man play menace. Yet another reason why I think TIE 86 is going to develop into something really special.

Jill, I tip my hat to you.
The right nut is now safely tucked up in my Jockeys.
Re his menace, the trailer for episode 2 asked a few questions...

When Johnny Harris first appeared on screen, for a split second, I thought it was Mr Considine. There was talk a while back of Paddy being in TIE'86 but wasn't able to due to other work commitments. I wonder if Mick's role was going to be for Paddy.
Johnny Harris does resemble Eddie Marsan.

I wonder if Lol's dad's role was going to be for Paddy. I hadnt heard that was the plan but yeah after seeing the character with his deadmans shoes beard I wondered why not paddy

One of my mates thought it was Paddy, but I set him straight.
My flatmate was asking too. He's one of those actors who you know you've seen in stuff, but whose name you might not know. He really does have that threatening edge. I'll bet I'll always remember his name after this!

You should try to track it down-I stillo remember sitting in the cinema watching the ending through my fingers. Johnny Harris was really excellent in it. From what I can gather about 'Mick', he's perfectly cast, as others have said.

Johnny Harris is a frikkin awesome actor at being bad. Wicked casting. Couldn't agree more - he's amazing in everything I've seen him in. Superb casting - and a brave role for him to take on. Nothing new for him though - I remember he was in an NSPCC ad years ago
