The TIE 88 will be a film. its not 2 episodes. It's a film. It will be shown at select cinemas before being seen on TV and even if it wasn't does that stop it being classed as a film? I'm confused?
TIE 90 is a series yes. But this is not. I am not putting my name to TIE 88 as an exec. I am diirecting the entire thing. I understand if people want me to do something on a different topic maybe, but lets not start judging TIE 88 badly due to the fact that you will probably see it on tv first. TV is just free. It doesn't turn films into hollyoaks.
It might say Xmas special on the tin for funding reasons but it's my next film, period. I start shooting in 5 weeks, you will see it before the year is out for sweet fanny adams and I will be ready to start work again this time next year. I am not doing this for financial reasons. I could earn twenty times what I'm getting paid for this doing a piece of yank wank. I actually love TIE and where it is going in 88. I will be making something very different in the not too distant future but for now, allow me my muse...

Is Pukey going to be back? I know there was mention of wanting him back in future instalments if his schedule would allow.

One of the things that has been interesting me most about TIE'88 was that it has been said to be a film and not a series. There's a slightly different vibe between the two formats and the way things unfold. I am curious to see how that fits this storyline.
I've been wondering about Pukey too. Although maybe it's TIE'90 he'll be back for, if he is?

Shane, I suppose there's no chance of making this in the style of a 70s TV spin-off movie where the gang end up going to Spain to run a hotel left to Woody by his long-lost millionaire great uncle which results in some hilarious scenes including Meggy and Banjo attempting to run the kitchen. The film could perhaps climax with the team foiling a gang of diamond smugglers ...no?

Kelpie, yeah bittersweet is the vibe im hoping for.
Although I could be persuaded by noveltyisland's proposal. Can just see Meggy and Banjo in oversized cooking hats stirring industrial sized vats of baked beans.

Very pleased to hear that TIE is continuing Shane, it got me back in the Screening Rooms and you absolutely did not let down with TIE '86. So excited about what is to come next.

Forget the last post. I just remembered Catfish. Ha! You nearly fell for my plan! Not really. I guess you're too much of a noob on here to realise that MissDonk is veteran Meadows Maniac! She hails from the early days of the site.
