Hey up everyone... I just had an idea.... As you may know, as well as this site, I also run a Twitter account to keep people up to date with all things Meadows. Here it is if you want to follow: twitter.com/ShadyMeadowsThe idea I just had in my special brain is that I could do a weekly mention on the Twitter account about one or two short films that have been posted on the forum here! As I type this, the Meadows Twitter feed has 5425 followers, so that's the potential audience that a mention of a short film could reach! This will no doubt lead to upset and tears because I'll probably just pick at random, and people will start bashing me for picking what I picked and ignoring other films. But for now, I think that's how I'll do it and see how people respond to it on Twitter (they may get sick of it and demand that all non-Meadows stuff is kept away from the Twitter feed!). Thoughts.

Hey... yeah I will include a short of yours definitely at some point. So far I have been linking to the newest films since I started the Drop Your Shorts thing on Twitter...
... which is of course annoying for those who posted just before! We'll have to sort that out! haha

There he is! haha Post your film in a new thread, and make sure you title it with *FILM* at the beginning. That way people know you've posted a link to a film and they can watch and comment if they like. Don't worry about the comments, they're all pretty polite and constructive! ;D

Hi Dave
My short film 'Bridge For The Living' is on the forum and on Youtube here:
It's my take on Philip Larkin's poem of the same name, is shot in and around Hull on a DSLR and features Sir Tom Courtenay.
A Twitter plug would be great, my twitter ID is @davelee1968

I think I might start doing this again on the Shane Meadows twitter feed.
Might try it again tonight. The Shane Meadows Twitter account that I run now has over 20,000 followers. What an audience!
