I can't go near Doritos any more after the long run of truly atrocious and nauseating excuses for advertisements they've been using for the last couple of years!
Friend chips.... for crying out loud. Simpering middle-class twats rolling about in hysterics because one of their mates has jammed a Dorito up their backside and called themselves a Stegosaurus (or similar acts of shiteness). I have boycotted them ever since. I have principals!

I ignore adverts and eat without guilt (just like the taste!)

I have to admit - as you expertly point out dave, the adverts are extremely daft but you cannot let that get in the way of the luxurious taste of a good cool original Dorito!

I could carry on forever, crisps are my favourite snack ever!

Also does anyone remember Quarter Backs? Also from the 10p range, they were american cheeseburger flavour. Although they didn't taste anything like burgers. They came in silver packs, mmmmmmmm...

Yeah.. I remember those. I'm pretty sure I remember the Tangy Toms and the others at 5p a bag! Double bargain! The Quarterbacks were bigger bags and cost 10p as you said. All from the wonderful company, Red Mill.

Hangabout, surely you can't top the original pub pork scratchings, the ones you need to shave before you stick 'em in your gob. I love the fact that the customer information hotline on the back is a mobile number

I remember those Puffs. Just a bag of air which happened to have some potato bits in it.
Can anyone as old as me confirm that Space Raiders were originally died with food colouring?! A mixture of green, red and yellow corn shapes I recall. Could it have been a dream?

Can't find any web evidence of the colourful Space Raiders.. I'm sure it was true!! Anyway, seeems that good old Red Mill have a website to display their snacks. Looks like most of the range is still there. Their logo is a bit bland these days though. I remember the days when it was a little picture of a red windmill (that was the 5p days). Here's the best page.... all (well most) of the classics still there. www.redmill.co.uk/kids_01.html
