This is one of the most human films I've ever seen. It pulled me through a catalogue of emotions and the actors/characters were so endearing that I find myself watching it over and over just to hear them. To see them. One of the most moral, exact and gut renching films I have seen in a long time. I have recommended it to anybody and everybody regardless of their inclinations as I feel that anyone who is unmoved or impartial to this film must surely be braindead. Shane.....you hit some nail right on it's big old head.

Na noo na noo
I just wanted to say how happy i felt yesterday, when i got on the tube in the old London smoke and found a newspaper... whilst checking out the t.v section, i came across 'Dead Man's Shoes'. It was pick of the day as the film to watch... I was really chuffed! It had an amazing write up.... so i stole the paper!
I then went to the paper shop in the station and read all the others and they were just as crackin, so i was even more chuffed!... Got some funny looks from the cashier as i stood smiling whilst reading all the papers!
After a really poo day, the newspaper moment brought a big ol cheeky smile to my face! So yes,.....
Thanks Shane. x

I agree with you sparrowface (nice name) the bit where Jo breaks into tears as her husband is explaining is one of two parts that force a massive lump into my throat. The other scene is where richard says "Was he screaming my name?........he still is. The hairs are standing up on my neck as I write this! That shows how powerful it is.
