I'm here because I am wondering what Shindig makes of the St James Park affair? But, to add, it's OK Clifton...I'm fine about the nonsense....you Pies are special people....but the relentless Forest hate probably is getting a bit boring for others to read, you know

What others? Let them come forward and speak up.
Not having a pop at you Jill but would love to hear from "The Others"
Most newbie posters are bullied away because they don't want to join the Clicky Club.
I want to hear from THE OTHERS

I wasn't having a pop at you either-just pointing out that I'm probably the only person on here at the moment who cares or even knows if Forest won or lost. As for the 'others'-plenty of people browse the site even if they don't post. The forum's quiet at the moment-true-because there hasn't been a lot of Meadows related news of late-and there are also facebook pages/twitter etc-I expect it's going to be pretty busy in a few weeks time Newbies aren't bullied away Clifton and it isn't a clicky club (you should have been on here a few years back-Ryd once jokingly described the forum as a cult-many a true word etc ) The one person who got a bit of flack kicked off his post titled 'live and let live'-with a load of tosh about how arty ( and snotty?) some of us were-wasn't exactly practicing what he was preaching, I'd say. As for Gis a Jobs. I don't care too much about those sorts of posts, but you might like to read this: shanemeadows.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=350When mods and regulars tell them to contact Shane's agent or find out where the casting sessions are held, they are not being hostile, but telling them how to increase their chances from zero to a little bit better than zero. Gis a Jobs rarely stick around. Anyway, this is getting a bit grumpy-knock yoursen out me ode. Everytime I read your footie posts, I visualise Francis getting his head to that cross and SMILE ;D

im fairly certain you could start an argument in an empty room sir, and still blame others. I was head boy, but only in the giving sense. Interesting you should suggest im the gloom monger, given your obsession with Forest. You are like one of those City fans who wishes he had supported Utd for the last 25 years, you protest far too much. Oh, and Darling boy, i was here before a lot of people got here, and i'll still be here when some have left. Interesting use of the idea of bullying too.

Jill, you have the patience of a saint, but its never ever going to work. just ignore his nonsensical rantings, for that is my intention from now on. That ignoring me didn't last long did it?

Tshk, you wouldn't let it lie...... It's not just this forum...we're obsessively stalked all over the internet: boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=402&fid=17&sty=2&act=1&mid=2116299203I particularly like: 'As parents we have a duty to thrash our children until they support our team. Sod the Human Rights Act I say.' Quite right... prepare 'em for the lifetime of 'cruel and unusual punishment' they have in store ;D

Clifton, at least i know you understand irony. I sound like a kid? Whats it been now , 2 years of "wah, wah, Cloughie drunk and drove, wah, Forest were once a great team & ive never supported one of those(im only defining greatness by what a teams won, obviously), wah, look at how passive aggresive i am etc etc. " i hate Man City, Liverpool, Leeds and Chelsea. But its the only time id tell you, because, well, why would YOU care who i hated, football wise? What possible difference would it make? What sort of person would i be to keep pointing it out to you?
By the by, i came on this forum and stayed on it because the people on here, were and still are, mostly, seemingly good decent people with good taste. You walk into anything blind and its going to seem cllique-y, thats life. i find, that if one engages, then people are basically decent.

Nor did i suggest you did. \not that that would be the worlds most terrible crime. Unless you were doing it to a Tory, obviously.

I'm here because I am wondering what Shindig makes of the St James Park affair? Belatedly, I think this: The name change doesn't honeslty bother me and, to be fair, Ashley's dropped the bombshell in two easy steps by first ditching the Newcastle United lettering off the main stand. What does concern me is the issues with Northern Rock. Rightly, they used the whole namimg rights and sponsorship announcement to terminate their shirt sponsorship deal. If I've got this right, this means the toon will be without a shirt sponsor from the turn of the new year. In an effort to gain an extra £10m a year, they've lost that much with Northern Rock opting out. Aside from that, we've been chipper.
