Been perusing the Reading and Leeds coverage on the BBC site. Always nice to see a Biffy set on there.... but an extra treat from the boys is on their too. They have conjoured another of their interesting cover versions... this time by doing an acoustic re-working of Killing In The Name! Worth a look.... especially for the over-enthused crowd swearing up a storm. www.bbc.co.uk/readingandleeds/2008/artists/biffyclyro/video3.shtml

currently listening to Inoculated City, by the Clash, out of Combat RockGood stuff! (Though "Know Your Rights" and "Straight To Hell" are probably my favorite songs on that album.) I'm currently giving Big Star's Third/Sister Lovers another spin -- they do such a lovely version of the Velvet Underground's "Femme Fatale"...

I'm listening to their album at the mo and it's pretty good. Time To Pretend has one of the best lyrics of all time as well as having a top tune.

That new Oasis single's alreet. Shame they still think they're the Beatles. They haven't put out a decent album since 1994.

My friend is a big fan and he went to see it, he asked me to come but It clashed with something else. In the end I don't think it did clash atall! So i'm a little annoyed I missed it. My friend said it was excellent, the whole audience humming their songs afterwards.

Also, I am a massive Smiths fan so have EVERYTHING including the rare b-side of them covering James' 'What's The World?' at one of their gigs. Thanks for the download by the way! I am listening to Tegan and Sara at the moment.
