I'm currently listening to: Cardinology - Ryan Adams And The Cardinals : I was worried it was going to be shit. I'm a huge Ryan Adams fan but his work rate of late has been some what poor. Easy Tiger, His last release, seemed rushed and although I do love the album I know its not what he is capable of. However Cardinology seemes to be a much awaited return to form. I mean hell The Sun gave it 4 out of 5 so.... . Can't wait to see him (for the fifth time) in a few weeks.

I was in the studio for Radiohead for the special 200th episode of Jools.... was amazing. I stood about two meters away from Thom Yorke

Cool. I've been listening to The Clash again lately, especially the first three albums.

General Nirvana, mostly In Utero this is a fantastic album. Never really got into Nirvana before, although I feel I should have. Though, I have been a fan of the Unplugged album for ages, that's excellent. So its weird to hear songs from that in their original form.
A friend leant me the Friendly Fires album. Erm... its alright... a little bit poppy for me. I may get into it yet.
Just got Bloc Party's Intimacy - I'm on 3rd track, sounds excellent thus far. Mercury is an excellent track me thinks.

DJ Shadow's fitting in nicely with my late night traveling and walks (well, Entroducing is) and I fancy some Kraftwerk to go with it.
I also spotted a 3 pack of Alice in Chains Albums. Well, two albums (Dirt and Facelift) and an EP. Pity I've already got Dirt so I may fancy getting Facelift on it's own with a couple of Metallica albums (£7 each at HMV, at the minute)
Might even grab 3, given that I can't decide 2 from Ride the Lightening, Metallica and Master of Puppets.

The new Smoking Popes album (Stay Down). Lovely, like Jawbreaker fronted by Sinatra covering Smiths songs.

Deerhunter's "Microcastle" album is effing genius. Got that recently after rave reviews at the likes of Pitchfork et al. And they weren't wrong.
Fans of distorted loveliness like My Bloody Valentine would especially love this.

I've just started hauling out my collection of holiday tunes -- including "Father Christmas" by The Kinks, "Jesus Christ" by Big Star, "Fairytale of New York" by The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl, "Santa's Beard" by They Might Be Giants, and "Christmas Card From a Hooker in Minneapolis" by Tom Waits. ;D

Luna by The Aliens.
Rocky, melodic, shaggy psychedelia. Think Beach boys, Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd, late sixties Beatles, ELO, Marc Bolan and Beck for starters.
