I heard that track a while ago... they released it as a single. From what I've heard the album is mostly much better! Oh yeah, Paramore... I did enjoy that song on GHWT but was scared to investigate further incase I ended up with some Avril Lavigne style business.

Haven't posted to this thread for a while. If you like Mr Scruff's "Get a Move On" for it's wonderful fusion of 20's Charleston saxophone and modern funk, I urge you in no uncertain terms to check out the music of Parov Stelar: profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=147145005And then click on the track named "Libella Swing" - it's the best track I've heard in a very very long time. Would love to know what other forum members think.

I'm quite addicted to the Friendly Fires album just now, especially their next single Skeleton Boy
Just downloaded VV Brown's song Crying Blood too, saw her on Jools Holland a while back and really liked her
Finally got round to buying a Seasick Steve album recently too, it's great, I really love his bluesy sound

I did enjoy that song on GHWT but was scared to investigate further incase I ended up with some Avril Lavigne style business. To be fair Misery Business is the best track... but all the other tracks come close! It's a fantastic album! I can't stop listening. Would recommend. Some great riffs. No where nearly Avril shit. Yeah Friendly Fires are good ay amy? Theres a couple of tracks on that album I shouldn't stand though "Love Sick" and.. "On Board" or something. So annoying! The rest is great though. Skeleton Boy is awesome.

Bought the new Prodigy album the other week Invaders Must Die.
Bit of a mish mash of an album really, got some classic tracks on that go right back to the old skool acid techno days, and then the other half of the album is filled with rock dance shite that sounds the same as the last album, then ending the album with a track that sounds more fatboy slim than the prodigy, very bizarre. Best tracks are Warriors Dance and Take me to the hospital.

I love that song!! Only annoying thing is that the single version is slightly better than the album version... Been going back to some classics recently, mainly Itchycoo Park ( ) and the Killing Moon ( ).

The new prodigy album.. The worst album I have ever bought. I feel like I have been robbed! I wouldnt call it the worst album ever, not up to scratch of their previous work, i prefer the first 2 albums, Experience & Music for the jilted generation as their best work, started to go a bit down hill after, going from underground to mainstream. Have you heard any of the other albums terry?

Also gave Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" a few listens. The lyrics are terrible, but enjoyable and you gotta love Ozzy's voice. Some great guitar work too. Really great weird chilled out track on there too.
Is that track called Planet Caravan? I remember becoming aware of that one because Pantera did a cover version of it in the mid nineties. This?
Just noticed, I must have modified your message instead of quoting to Ryd! Doh! Dave

I'm worryingly starting to like the same music as my Dad now, I even downloaded a Gaelic song!! It's a version of Down to the River to Pray ( ) called Sios Dhan an Abhainn by Mary Ann Kennedy and Na Seoid, can't find a proper link to it, but it is on their Myspace ( www.myspace.com/maknaseoid ). Possibly not the, for want of a better word, coolest song in my collection, but I heard it on the radio and I though it was beautiful, definitely well worth a listen.

Fleet Foxes was the best album of last year!
I've been listening to Morrisseys new album recently its brilliant. I was worried it would be a bit gash like his last album "Ring Leader Of The Tormentors" which was dissapointing!
