I am listening to Jazz and Bossa Nova artists lately. Lianne La Havas. I don't know if you are familiar of her but if you can check her out, she's got a very lovely voice.

I have been listening to Marcus Foster and the King Blues. Very different but can't get either out of my head.

Saw Between the Buried and Me supported by Animals As Leaders a couple of days ago which was great stuff considering they are currently my top two favourite bands! Animals As Leaders have a new album out in November (which will be their second), and they played one lovely new track from it at the gig. The studio version has been put on YouTube too... hooray! It's instrumental prog metal if you're wondering

Been giving my daughter a lift to work this week and mostly listening to the Fiery Furnaces (under duress). Anybody got any earplugs?

Beck's Sea Change Over and over again. It's like sonic morphine.

Today, I have mainly been listening to Al Green. Not inspired by Obama, although that was quite cool.

Surprisingly, Twilight Sad's new album has sold out at Play.com. I'm slightly disgruntled by that.

Random post! Came across these 'New York Session' acoustic versions of tracks from Blood on the Tracks recently (one of my all time favourites). Not sure how I missed these before-behind at least 30,000 people Is there another Dylan song which is at once so poetic and so bitter as Idiot Wind? '....'never known the Sping time turn so quickly into autumn.' Really nice to hear the lyrics so clearly too
