Hip Mark hahahahahahahaha!!!!!
I want to see Primer but its not showing near me and I cant find it to download. It looks really interesting though.
I enjoyed Crash a lot. It had that sort of Patronising and Idealistic tone to it but hey, thats Hollywood. It beats shite like Hitch and The Wedding Crashers any day.

Just to open up the old im a skinhead and not racist vibe thing if canauk is still around what do you think after seeing the great pics and the review of the day on set. I dont know what kinda film Shane is gonna make as even the most friendly looking shane film usually ends up in a dark place so how this will end up fuck knows. I was wondering if the fact that the great Shimmy is in this gang and he is mixed race (i think) changes your views on this film, i mean it seems your whole point was that most skinhead films just show the violence and racist views and nothing about the true origins of the movement like the music. Anyway it got stupid last time so i just want to know what you think now, and have the pics changed your views??

Yes I second that.... I also mentioned in another thread that Keiran Hardcastle has been posting on that it would be cool to hear about the audition process that Shane puts you through! How about it?

Yeah Dude, Paddy already had two back-to-back films scheduled in at the same time (Backwoods, with Gary Oldman and PU-239 with Rhada Mitchell which hes filming now) and was unable to do the shoot in the time it was to be made. Not only that but I dont know if he wanted to be in this one.

im gutted to read that paddy aint gonna be in this film. anyone know why not? As far as I recall, there was a stage when Paddy was going to be in it yes, but eventually it came to a point where they were trying to find a part for him in the film, rather than there being a role written specifically for him. At this stage they both realised that they probably shouldn't just put Paddy in the film for the sake of if it. It seemed that none of the main roles were written with Paddy in mind. No doubt there will be many who argue that Paddy could have taken on any of the roles... and he probably could have.... but it just wasn't the vision of the film Shane had. Don't be down-hearted... there's no doubt that Paddy and Shane will work together again in the future... plus This Is England looks like it will be a winner, so just enjoy it!

I second that Shane is such a talent spotter his films easily stand up on their own with or without Paddy, let us not forget how good 'Small Time' and '24/7' are without Pads.
