Well done Shane, I never really gathered how much you battled to get this film released the way you wanted it.
All the word of mouth and reviews so far look extremely positive thus far, and if anyone is going to tell a story using such a sensitive subject (racism, anti-war, Thatcherite Britain) it is yourself.
Cannot wait to see it.

A well done form me as well shane. I'm glad you're pleased with the final result mate, and glad the reviews are lookin good too.
I'm not gonna read any myself, i think they may spoil the film for me. But i pretty much know it's gonna be awesome anyway shane! can't wait to see it!

I thought that little smiley face guy was a pretty good clue! I want to see it again desperately though. No-one will be disappointed, I'm really confident of that.

How did you wangle it, sherbs and donkish? Did you see both versions or just the "Shane" cut?

The guys came down in the darkest hour of the edit and really helped me to see that the film was heading in the right direction.
There were 2 versions around at the time, but I only showed Sherbs and Ms Donk my preffered version (still a little rough round the gills but a decent idea of where it was heading) as I wanted an honest response to what I thought was the right film.
It was the best tonic for me as even Louise and Mark had joined me on the bench of blindness as they too had seen the film a trillion times. We knew we needed to get a fresh pair of eyes in and let them know that they could be totally honest.
They were a fantastic help and great people to boot. ;D
