This whole this is like been back in the playground getting picked last for footy again. Ha, well they'd have needed an all round perspective so a male and female combo seems a perfect choice Im looking forward dragging my arse to the LFF to see it, and as many other films as time allows.

Howdi peeps,
Well i see the buzz of 'TIE' has travelled back to the important place. The site!! Ive read all the reviews on the links and im blown away!!!!! The response is overwhelming!
I was very fortunate enough to attend the 'TIE' world premier in Toronto, and its something that will stay with me forever. So i wanted to share my experience.
Seeing the sheer happiness/emotion on Shanes face, was priceless! (knowing how tough this has been and what this project means to him, its great).
After receiving some very dissappointing news i decided to book myself a flight over to the festival, cheer myself up and support the film. I found cheap flights and some really spooky cheap hostel/residence accommodation, which in the end did not matter a hoot to me as i never really slept, i was floating around toronto on bloody cloud 9.
What followed was a mindblowing experience that just seemed to keep getting better and better, at times i felt really sick from sheer excitment, but i just tried to enjoy it!!
I had not seen the film. So my first experience of it was with 1,600 strangers and i was shitting myself. i had seen a completely different version of the film about 5 weeks before it actually got finished. So it was all brand new.
As i sat in the cinema, the mood was strong. It changed from laughter to tears to silence and at times i thought my heart was gonna come out of my throat.
This film is a MASTERPIECE, i can honestly say that i don't feel you will be dissappointed. Its so brave, I know in my heart when things r good and they are not. This IS!!!! It was the most exciting experience ever. People congratulating Shane and Mark, crackers.
The performances from all the cast are excellant. Every single person is very very strong, believable and Shane is a pure genious!
I really did cry when i had that perm, but the tears in toronto were happy ones! Being part of such a truely beautiful film, i am so so proud, but most of all i am proud of Tomo who is a wonderful kid and you will all love him in it. I kept telling him whilst filming, just hang in there this will be with you for the rest of your life, and it can be great! Well it is and what an experience for him its gonna turn out to be. What an acheivment!!!!!!!!!!
Well done gangio!!!!! THIS IS ENGLAND!!
proud to be CYNTH x x x x x x x x x

Wow! That's some glowing report! Glad it's all been so amazing. Like Shane said, I think we should try and find a tepid review somewhere, just to calm everyone down!

I fully agree with shane Dave, but i wanted to share my experience with everyone. Im sure things won't always be so rosey, they never are, there is no-one more than me knows that mate. so im enjoying the good times while they last. like i said in my message, It all seems too good to be true.
And Kezz you will have the same experience when you see the film, you all will! Cant wait to see you all too.

Just checked out IMDB and there is a glowing review on there also. But the best bit on there is when someone wrote,"I saw 35 films at the festival and this was my favourite." How awesome is that!

That's nothing. I saw 52 films at the Toronto Film Festival, but This Is England, I chose to see it twice.
It was by far my favorite.
